Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Historia has been published continuously since its first issue in 1956, as part of Studia UBB series, under the editorship of Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj. It was published annually from the beginning until 1962 and, again, between 1974 and 1990, when it became a biannual serial publication. Studia UBB Historia is the longest-lived journal series established and maintained by historians and researchers at the Faculty of History and Philosophy of BBU. A Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Historia az 1956-os első szám óta folyamatosan jelenik meg a Studia UBB sorozat részeként, a kolozsvári Babeş-Bolyai Tudományegyetem szerkesztésében. A kezdetektől fogva évente jelent meg 1962-ig, majd 1974 és 1990 között, amikor is félévente megjelenő sorozatkiadvány lett. A Studia UBB Historia a leghosszabb ideje működő folyóiratsorozat, amelyet a BBTE Történelem és Filozófia Karának történészei és kutatói alapítottak és tartanak fenn.
