The article gives an insight into the way the newspapers of Hungarian governing parties referred to the German minority in 1945, the year before the ethnic group's relocation. By analyzing the types of reference, the author gives examples of the prejudiced language use along economic and political dimensions. The findings confirm István Bibó's view, namely that the Hungarian press after the second world war was a means of conveying a distorted picture of the German minority.

The article tries to present the amplification process generated by financial derivatives in the evolution of the global economy crisis. For this purpose in the first section are presented the role of financial markets and their mechanisms in the modern economy. In this part it is emphasized the transformation processes, that are used to meet the needs of money demand and supply. In the second part the financial derivatives are introduced to present their added value in the most important transformation process, the risk transformation. With the aid of these instruments it possible to separate in an asset price the two components: risk and value. In the third part the credit derivatives are introduced to show their role played in the financial crisis, and how this resulted in a global economic crisis. In conclusion, starting from the mechanisms presented earlier, the lessons learned from this market disequilibrium are presented, and what the possible consequences are in the future.

According to the author, the present financial crisis was brought about by the collapse of the American real estate market, intensified by the financial politics of the American administration and the impact of the new financial products on the international financial market, which extended the opportunities for speculation and have finally led to huge losses. In the present processes he sees a strategy for monopolizing financial power, which could lead to further detrimental consequences. As it is, it is proven once more that the essence of capitalism is the association of nihilism with technology, i.e. the consummation and end of metaphysics.

The study presents the international financial crisis, its macro and microeconomic causes, possible restraints in loan approval, the crisis' transmission channels in Romania, and its direct and indirect effects on Romania's economy. It also presents the solutions that the world's states are heading towards in order to work out the crisis, and to minimize the most dangerous effects on the globalized world economy.
